The Office series remains a popular series as viewers find it streaming years after nine seasons of the NBC sitcom.
Rainn Wilson, who plays the character of Dwight Schrute in the American version of the comedy created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, was the guest of the series. The Drew Barrymore Show. The actor shared that he wished the NBC comedy would shoot a series of episodes at the height of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and shared his hilarious suggestion for a potential back-to-office episode.
Thus he said: “It would have been a lot of fun filming The Office during the pandemic. It would be great if there were pandemic episodes. The writers of The Office were so great that they could have done some really cool stuff.” .
And Rainn Wilson has a very clear idea of how his character will take matters into his own hands: “I think it would be like this: He gets a call from the company to get everyone back into the office, and everyone resists. So Dwight must kidnap all the cast of The Office one by one and bring them to Dunder Mifflin in an obscure and somewhat inappropriate way”.
