It’s Live (TMC) – Arnaud Ducret: "I am very happy to do this job!"

At 44, the actor returns to the stage where it all started… Interview.

Your single in this third scene: would you say it’s a return to your roots?

Arnaud Ducret: Completely. For me, the stage is an instinctive need. I started with the one-man show, and between films I often feel a lack of artistic as well as the need to engage with the public.

About his connection to the stage, your friend François-Xavier Demaison talks about the sensation of orgasm!

He is right ! When I started the show, I had a chill from the soles of my feet to my hair at the first big laugh. I thought to myself, “Wow, how nice! »

What topics do you want to discuss with this Hayat Hayat program?

Life in general… When I talk about my uncle Gérard, I’m sure a lot of people are going through the same thing, and when I talk about old age or a nursing home, everyone can relate to it.

Does getting older worry you?

I heard a psychologist say that many men in their forties understand that one day they will die, and that this leads to a lot of depression. I don’t think I’m depressed, but maybe the scene is a starting point. I still consider myself a child: that was thirty years ago, but for me it was yesterday. Frankly, it bothers me a bit.

Going back to your career: What is the opinion of the former boy from Rouen on his career?

I did very well not quitting. It was very important to me. As a kid, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I believed in myself and made the right decisions at the right time. I may have done wrong. This didn’t happen, thanks to my mother’s upbringing.

You seem to have kept the amazement of the 10-year-old…

Completely. Being on stage and connecting with the public was my childhood dream. I met Jean-Paul Belmondo, toured with ex-Petit-Couronne (Seine-Maritime, editor’s note) boy Eddy Mitchell, experienced extraordinary things. I am very happy to do this job!
