EXCLUSIVE: how long awaythe culture podcast by Jason Stewart and Chris Black, has signed to the Talkhouse podcast network.
The move joins Stewart and Black recording three podcasts a week, with the likes of Bjork and Santigold also having deals with the podcast company.
It will handle talkhouse distribution, ad sales, marketing and podcast-related partnerships and is the first such deal for how long awaywhich is currently running in episode 473. The company said the podcast has 500,000 monthly listeners.
Stewart and Back recently signed with CAA to enhance his Hollywood credentials. The couple often joke on the show about the new opportunities the talent agency gives them and talk a lot about a potential how long away television show.
The podcast features interviews with Jeremy O. Harris, Whitney Port, Lili Anolik, Lena Dunham, Bret Easton Ellis, BJ Novak, Goo Goo Dolls, Caroline Polachek and Cord Jefferson, among others.
It kicked off in March 2020. The pair have just announced new live tour dates in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago and London, following sold-out shows with the likes of Alexa Chung, Alison Roman, Hari Nef, Joe Mande and Jan Early.
Talkhouse Podcast Network has similar offerings with podcasts like Björk: Sound symbolism, Jokermen And Santigold’s noble champions as well as his own Talk home podcast.
