Model dies after using IV for health boost based on human PLACENTA she bought from online pharmacy

A trainee doctor who also worked as a model died after taking an immune stimulant made from a human placenta, police in Russia said.

An investigation is underway into the tragic death of 22-year-old Anna Kolyada, a fifth-year medical student who self-administered the Japanese drug through an IV.

She died in hospital after contracting a fever on her way to the airport to fly to Dubai.

Kolyada – who called herself an online “health coach” – suffered from fluid build-up in the lungs, septic shock, heart failure and blood poisoning.

She apparently died ten days after being admitted to the hospital.

Kolyada, a fifth-year medical student at the prestigious Sechenov Medical University in Moscow, dated businessman Dmitri Zhulin, who was hospitalized but is now recovering.

A male friend to whom she gave the treatment, businessman Dmitry Zhulin (33), also fell ill and was hospitalized, but is now recovering.

Criminal proceedings have been opened into Kolyada’s death, the Russian Investigative Commission said.

She allegedly bought the Japanese Laennec treatment without a prescription from an online pharmacy and put herself and Zhulin on an IV without contacting a qualified doctor.

It is suspected that the drug was in a saline solution for several days and “an infection developed in it from coagulated protein.”

The couple wanted to boost their immune system, it said.

They had previously taken the drug without problems.

Zhulin is the founder of a large Russian online store called Sbermarket.

Kolyada studied at the famous Sechenov Medical University in Moscow.

Researchers would study the vials containing the human placenta-based immune stimulant.

Laennec is described by one provider as a “unique immune stimulant.” It is derived from placenta hydrolyzate….

“Laennec is made using the placenta taken from Japanese women after they have given birth safely and without complications.”
