Daily hosted by Yan Barthès at TMC to promote the feature film Youssef Salem succeeds It will hit theaters on January 18. Ramzy Bedia’s character is an unsuccessful writer whose novel, inspired directly by his own family, became a success when it became popular. Ramzy took advantage of his time on the show Daily to explain that it was his affair with his younger sister. She said she hoped there was another way for him. “He was so bright in school that he got his high school diploma at the age of 8 and a half. It was geared towards big work and I said ‘you have nothing to do there’. Actually, I was very relieved, I was just so afraid that he would pull it, if someone said ‘you’re his older sister’ to him, that’s all, I was afraid for him, I wanted to protect him.‘, he explained.
Finding himself in full promotion with his sister, Melha, was particularly complicated, Ramzy said.
“It’s weird to be around my sister, I’m not good at all. It’s weird to be around my sister“, he said before pretending to leave the set.
He explained that the director of the movie used Melha behind Ramzy’s back.
