The time has come for Blaise Matuidi to surrender. The former midfielder of the French team that won the World Cup in 2018 (who played 84 times from 2010 to 2019) announced on Friday, December 23, that he will retire from football.

Throughout his affluent career, this tireless midfielder will thrive at Troyes, Saint-Etienne, Paris Saint-Germain, as well as abroad at Juventus in Turin and finally at his last club, Inter Miami. This is the first 2018 world champion to quit football.
