Brits vote for their favorite biscuit – which one do you think should come first?

It’s the debate that probably won’t ever go away… and the subject of often heated discussions in the pub. What really is Britain’s best biscuit?

From chocolate digestives to custard creams, the UK is spoiled for choice when it comes to cookie choices.

Now a new poll has been launched on Reddit to finally end the debate by asking users to vote for the country’s favorite – and in the process five candidates have already been removed from the original list of sixteen candidates.

In what was controversial (to some), the survey also included Jaffa cakes – the subject of heated debates about their status as a cookie or cake.

But that didn’t stop people from throwing out orange-accented treats alongside Garibaldis, pink waffles, rich teas and yummy cookies.

Hobnobs, Bourbons and Jammie Dodgers are now among the eleven players still competing to become King of the Can.

Instead of settling the debate, some cookie fans immediately took to the comments section to express their outrage that their favorites were out of the game.

One joked: “Where’s the biscuit, the only biscuit that deserves to win?” Is there an anti-Scottish conspiracy going on here?

“We demand transparency and accountability from the polling station.”

A second added: “I never thought I’d be tactically voting in a cookie contest but I have to save my beloved malted milk. ‘Gingernut, I’m so sorry.’

Others apparently thought the Jammie Dodger should be the next cookie to disappear from the poll.

Another user said: “Yum Dodgers gotta go.”

A fourth lamented: “Jammie Dodger is next because I’ve always wanted to split the halves but it never worked, I’m still mad about it.”

Another comment reads: “I never liked Jammie Dodgers. I don’t understand the hype.’

The polemical poll comes after a Brit divided opinion online after he compiled a list of chocolate bars in the UK, ranking the sweets from best to worst in his opinion.

Liam Waddington, originally from England but living in Poland, used X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his thoughts on chocolate, but some people think his ranking is controversial to say the least.

The post, which has been viewed more than 500,000 times, was captioned: “Accurate UK Chocolate Tier List”.

The content creator ranked the treats from “god level” to “some shit,” placing Cream Eggs, Snickers, Reese’s, Ferrero Rocher and Terry’s Chocolate Orange at the top.

At the bottom of the list were Cadbury’s Fudge, After Eights and Rolos, which angered some people.
