Here is Moscow’s main ice rink with an area of 20,500 (!) square meters and a capacity of up to 4,500 people. The season opened here on November 25th, so for the next few months anyone can go from the “Central” pavilion to the “Farming” pavilion along the Main Road. Afterwards, you can check out the food court to warm up with hot drinks and snacks. What else awaits guests? Locker rooms, two skate grinding stations, a first aid post, nine food outlets and a restaurant. Skates can be rented or brought with you (they have a skip-the-line entrance for visitors).
Working hours: 11:00 – 23:00 on weekdays, 10:00 – 23:00 on weekends and holidays (15:00 – 17:00 – technical break). Mondays are technical days.

“Culture and Leisure Track”
Gorky Park this season focused on elements that look like rays of light and look like flashes. Two sessions with technical breaks were organized to separate the streams for the convenience of the guests and to make skiing as comfortable and safe as possible for everyone. The park also has two skate sharpening points, rentals (but you can bring your own), chase, games and a mission with a complex detective story, a hockey rink, 16 kiosks, cafes and restaurants, and a separate children’s skating rink. By the way, every weekend from December to February, the smallest visitors here are greeted by the characters of the animated series Riki Group: Smeshariki, Fixiki and others.
Working hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 – 15:00, 17:00 – 23:00 (15:00 – 17:00 – technical break). Mondays are days off.

CHEWING GUM
Perhaps the most atmospheric ice rink in the center of Moscow. Nearby is the traditional New Year’s fair on Red Square, the same carousel that is on everyone’s social networks and, of course, GUM. Therefore, after a walk, you can look at the ice rink, while at the same time treat yourself to mulled wine. Meanwhile, the first four-hour sessions on weekdays can be visited free of charge. And yes, skate rentals are also available.

A large (1,800 square meters) ice complex in Skolkovo, where you can not only skate, but also attend master classes in figure skating and curling. And after that, a cafe with its own grill station is open to guests, so you shouldn’t worry about getting hungry. There is also a shop and sharpening works where you can buy everything you need for a comfortable ride.

“South pole”
This year, a 16,000 square meter ice rink was opened in Luzhniki, and its main difference is that the ice surface is not divided into separate parts and roads, but forms a single whole. Just a side note: this is by far the largest continuous skating surface in Moscow. Guests have access to a hot pavilion with lockers, skate rental and sharpening, as well as lessons with skate advisors and toy assistants for the youngest visitors.

The ice skating rink with an area of 900 square meters is located in the parter section of the Hermitage Garden. We warn you right away that you cannot personally buy tickets – the traditional ticket offices on the ice rink are not working this season (additional services can be paid on the spot). You should also leave a cash deposit when renting skates, utility skaters, or protection kits. Here, in Tagansky Park, one of the most atmospheric ice rinks in the city awaits you, and you will definitely not return home without a photo: at least thanks to a backlit mirror on the ice.
