Since its launch in 2000, the Fiat Dobló has stood out for its versatility, with versions, silhouettes and transformations designed to meet a wide range of applications and needs. More than two decades later, this model enters the market in its fifth generation relying on the experience of Stellantis Vigo for the production of this type of models. With the daily needs of families, businesses and the self-employed in mind, the new Doblò and its 100% electric version E-Doblò offer ingenious and innovative solutions that make driving in the city easier.
The new Doblò offers the highest level of versatility, interior space, payload and safety with the possibility of customization and transformation for any activity or business. This Fiat model is available in two lengths and three different configurations (VAN, Crew Cab, Combi) and offers a wide range of combustion engines in addition to the electric ones in the new E-Doblò. In the technological part, it is equipped with 17 driver assistance functions are among the most advanced on the market, such as automatic traffic sign recognition, Active Safety Brake, Lane Keeping Assist, Head Up Display and, in the Van versions, the intelligent traction control Grip Control System and Hill Descent control, for safe handling of slopes of more than 3%.
The comfort of the professionals who spend many hours aboard their vehicle has been a priority in the design of the new Fiat Doblò, which is reflected in the acoustic insulation and the suspension designed to minimize shocks and vibrations. The ‘Magic Features’ add modularity, durability and safety to this model, which becomes a reliable and versatile working partner. Magic Cargo allows an increase of 0.5 m3 in cargo volume and the possibility of carry long objects such as pipes or ladders up to 3.4 m loading length. In addition, it is possible to gain even more space thanks to a compartment under the passenger seat to store boxes or breakables. There is also a turntable to convert the Doblò cab into a mobile office.
In addition, the new Fiat Doblò is equipped with the Magic Mirror, a 5″ digital rear view mirror that offers three different views: a rear view mirror, a full view of the blind spot and a reversing camera that improves visibility and safety.
Finally, thanks to the Magic Plug, only available on the Fiat E-Doblò, it is possible to use the electrical energy produced by the battery for specific conversion needs, such as charging the charging cooler or a workbench for power tools.
Both in the thermal versions and in the electric E-Doblò, this model offers a first-class load capacity of up to 800 kg or two Euro pallets, which can reach one ton in the thermal versions. Available with two wheelbases, the Doblò is ready for any contingency: the long wheelbase version offers a maximum volume of 4.4 m3 thanks to the Magic Cargo function.
The crew cab bodywork provides unique modularity between the seat and cargo area, thanks to a sliding bulkhead, allowing the cargo area or passenger seats to be modulated as needed.
Inside, the three individual seats fold down into the second, creating a flat floor that easily increases payload when it comes to hauling long or bulky items.
This version of the Fiat Doblò can include the Magic Top, a roof with windows that offers more space for the storage compartments, as well as a transparent parcel shelf and a rear roof box, which can be accessed from both the inside and the outside. . And the optional Magic View feature that makes parking easier thanks to the 180° camera that provides a full view of what’s directly behind the vehicle.
8” DAB radio is also standard content to enhance the multimedia experience.
The new Fiat E-Dobló is at the same time the Italian company’s third zero-emission passenger car, after the Fiat 500e and the Fiat E-Ulysee, and the third electric car from Fiat Professional, after the E-Ducato and the Shield. Equipped with a 100 kW electric motor and a 50 kWh battery, which allows more than 280 km of autonomy, it reaches a top speed of 130 km/h and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Thanks to the “Quick Charge Mode” up to 100 kW, you can charge 80% of your battery in just 30 minutes.
At the wheel, the driver can choose between different modes: Normal, Eco and Power. Each mode adjusts the vehicle’s driving response, improving and optimizing performance: “Normal” is recommended for driving in normal traffic; “Eco” improves your fuel economy and “Power” improves the maximum power of the vehicle.
In addition to the electric version, two diesel versions are available: 1.5-litre, 100 hp with manual transmission; 1.5 liters in a 130 hp manual gearbox and 8-speed automatic. And finally a 110 hp 1.2 petrol engine.
The industrialization project of this model has received the support of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Galician Innovation Agency.
The new E-Doblò passenger is available from 29,100 euros (including discounts and MOVING, scrap and taxes), the E-Doblò van from 31,300 euros; and the Doblò 510 Van, from 20,950.
