Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club held the president’s dinner on New York’s iconic Cipriani 42nd Street on April 11, 2022.
Hundreds of design industry dignitaries, including Martha Stewart, gathered to honor Benjamin Moore and design legend Bunny Williams.
Attendees at this year’s event helped raise just over $1.2 million to fund essential after-school programs for more than 10,000 young people in the ten Bronx regions.

Located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan Cipriani 42nd Street exudes splendor like no other.
Attendees enjoyed song and dance performances by members of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s performing arts programs while sitting at round tables beautifully decorated with flower arrangements in the centre, under very high ceilings.
The platter dinner consisted of appetizers with mozzarella and a choice of veal, salmon or vegetarian main course.

Bunny Williams received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Schumacher Creative Director Dara Caponigro, while Head of Food Jamie Drake presented the company’s award to Benjamin Moore’s public relations director Kelly Sinatra.
The black tie event was chaired by famous designers Jamie Drake and Corey Damen Jenkins, while vice-presidents were famous designers Sasha Bikoff, Alessandra Branca, Jesse Carrier, Mara Miller, Alexa Hampton, Young Huh and Andrew Torrey.

Wearing a beautiful green dress, Williams, remembering the first Kipps Bay Showhouse in the early 1970s, expressed surprise at the funds raised from the Presidents’ dinners and Showhouses. He is very generous not only to Kips Bay, but to many other organizations.”
To honor her, she wore decorative bunny ears while the audience spoke.

The President’s Dinner is raising funds to provide essential after-school and enrichment programs to more than 10,000 young people ages 6 to 18 in ten districts of the Bronx to help them realize their potential for growth and success.
Today the club is proud to be one of New York City’s leading and responsive youth development agencies and a “flagship” of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Since the organization was founded over 100 years ago, it has grown into a recognized leader among 4,500 boys’ and girls’ clubs across the country.
