From Marvel Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man The animated series will return for a second season on Disney+ in the fall of 2026. The news arrived during New York Comic Con, where fans were able to see an exclusive trailer that previewed the prospects of this animated version of Peter Parker.
A preview full of surprises. Season two will dive into the Poison plot, which introduces the infamous symbiote that is destined to rock Peter’s world.
The trailer also confirmed that Gwen Stacy will make her debut Charlie Cox’s Daredevil returns to action. Fans also caught a glimpse of familiar faces like Norman and Harry Osborn, Doctor Octopus, Chameleon, and Scorpion, along with a first look at Nico Minoru’s growing magical powers.
Hudson Thames returns as the voice of Peter Parker in Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Manpremiered on Disney+ in early 2025. The series stands out from the Tom Holland Spider-Man films in the MCU, set in a completely different universe with a unique twist on the character and his world.
This version of Spider-Man puts a fascinating twist on the origin story. Instead of Tony Stark as Peter’s mentor, that role goes to Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo.
Here, Norman isn’t a cackling villain, at least not yet. He’s the CEO of Oscorp and offers Peter and his friends internships that seem too good to be true, and fans already suspect his motives are less than heroic.
Peter’s circle of friends also seems a little different. They include Harry Osborn (voiced by Zeno Robinson), a social media influencer, and Nico Minoru (voiced by Song of Grace), a mysterious teenager with ties to witchcraft.
The cast is also present Eugene Byrd as a young Tombstone, Hugh Dancy like Otto Ottavio, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Alex Le in the role of Amadeus Cho, Jonathan Medina like Scorpio, and Charlie Cox reprising his fan-favorite role as Daredevil.
The first season left fans hanging with numerous cliffhangers. The finale featured Doctor Strange (voiced by Robert Atkin Downes) join forces with Spidey to fight the Venom symbiote after it arrives from another dimension.
In an unexpected ending, Norman Osborn secretly kept a fragment of the symbiote for his experiments, and just when Peter thought things couldn’t get any more complicated, it’s revealed that his father, Richard Parker, long thought dead, is actually alive and behind bars.
With Venom, Gwen Stacy and Daredevil set to play key roles, the second season of Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man aims to expand its universe in exciting and interesting ways.
