In his new book, Revenge, Tom Bower states that the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, and the Duchess of Sussex, 40, disagreed over Princess Charlotte’s skirt length and the fit of her dress, and bridesmaids “should wear pantyhose at weddings.”
She said Meghan’s “perseverance” was “supported” by her former best friend and another bridesmaid, Jessica Mulroney’s mother, adding that “some would say Meghan compares Ivy positively to Charlotte.”
The alleged version of events is the latest in a long string of dispute claims. Early reports in 2018 claimed that Meghan made Kate cry during a discussion about bridesmaid dresses.
The Duchess of Sussex later disagreed in a gorgeous interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming it was the other way around, saying, “Kate (Kate) was upset about something, but she took ownership of it and apologized. And he brought me some flowers.

The disagreement was followed by a second discussion, “About Charlotte’s hemline: Kate thought it was too short and it didn’t fit anyway.”
But Bower claims the Duchess of Sussex “wouldn’t compromise” – and Kate was pissed off and heard staff complaints about Meghan’s behavior confirmed.
Prince William’s notorious feud with his wife made headlines around the world after an alleged controversy over flower girls’ dresses.
Six bridesmaids appear bare-legged in the wedding photos at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, while in the April 2011 wedding photos of Prince William and Kate, the bridesmaids wear pantyhose.
In November 2018, Meghan allegedly brought Kate to tears over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.
The Daily Telegraph reported that two sources claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge cried after trying on dresses with Charlotte.

But Meghan would later claim in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that the Duchess of Cambridge made her cry.

Katie added that there were “different versions” of the story, adding that Prince Harry and Meghan knew Kate “couldn’t answer”.
