
Many of us have probably had a couple of times in the bedroom where things have gone a little wrong, and these are the most common accidents that happen in the UK.
Britain’s worst sexual misadventures have been revealed, ranging from a huge carpet burn to broken penises.
There are some sex-related injuries people can suffer when caught in the moment, according to a new study sweet loveas many as one in three Britons (37%) has suffered a sexual injury.
Lovehoney surveyed 2,000 Brits to find out which are the most common bedroom disasters and which positions are most likely to get a partner in A&E.

Despite being hot and muggy in the bedroom, friction was found to be the most common cause of injury, with 65% of Brits saying they have never suffered carpet burns during sex.
Many also admitted to having frequent bruising (54%) and muscle strains (39%) after a session of unlimited sex.
Men (39%) were also more likely to experience bedroom disasters than women (36%), with people aged 35-44 experiencing the most sexual injuries in the UK (47%) ).

But it turns out that penetrative sex isn’t the only course of serious misfortune, with up to 24% of men surveyed admitting to having suffered sex-related injuries while having or receiving oral sex.
By comparison, only 16% of women admitted having had the same experience.
The study also looked at where in the UK people were most prone to bedroom disasters, revealing that people in Bristol and Sheffield were the most susceptible.
Nearly half (48%) of residents admitted to having been involved in some sort of gambling accident, with Manchester in second place with 42% admitting to having suffered sex-related injuries.
Meanwhile, other cities have revealed that their residents were more likely to end up in the emergency room after a brazen accident.

Nearly one in five in Plymouth admitted having broken a bone during sex (16% more than the national average of 2%), while those in Glasgow said they were more likely to have a foreign object stuck inside. 13%) during their sexual adventures.
Some people even broke things during a sex session, with more than half (57%) of respondents admitting they broke the bed frame.
One in three people said they broke a shower curtain, and 34% also admitted to breaking a chair.
According to the interviewees, even doggy style (30%) and missionary (23%) were the most destructive positions.
When asked where disaster was most likely to strike, unsurprisingly the bedroom was at the top of the list (55%). Sofas (26%) and stairs (22%) follow.
If you’re into romantic getaways, hotel rooms were another high-risk location for sexual injury, with one in six Britons claiming to have suffered a disaster in their bedroom while away from home.
The outdoors, meanwhile, proved popular among 45-54-year-olds, as they admitted that most of the sexual injuries occurred in the garden (8%).
Some of the more adventurous places people have been sexually injured included airplane toilets and the workplace.
Furthermore, it was reported that suffering a sexual injury while joining the high mile club was six times more likely to happen to a man than to a woman.
