Rosario Dawson shares (then deletes) heartwarming post from AHSOKA season 2, promising “We’ll see each other again”

Rosario Dawson just sent Star Wars fans in speculation mode after sharing, and then quickly deleting, a heartfelt post marking the end of filming Ahsoka Season 2.

The post featured a selfie of Dawson holding a special piece of art created for the cast and crew, celebrating the completion of the next chapter in Ahsoka Tano’s story.

Along with the photo, he wrote, “That’s it! It was exciting to sign and gift nearly 1,000 of these epic magnetic Displate metal posters to our incredibly hard-working AHSOKA Season 2 team… the Force is strong with this team. Enjoy a little piece of the galaxy until we meet again.”

That final comment, “until we meet again,” caught fans’ attention. Could Dawson be hinting that Ahsoka season 2 won’t mark the end of the journey for the beloved Jedi? Obviously! There’s the big movie that Dave Filoni is developing that she’s going to be a part of.

Although Lucasfilm has not announced a release date for Ahsoka Season 2, we know the new episodes will expand the story across two galaxies, feature the return of Admiral Ackbar, and introduce Rory McCann as the new Baylan Skoll, following the passing of Ray Stevenson.

Well yes, Hayden Christensen will once again appear as Anakin Skywalker, a moment fans are already eagerly awaiting since his emotional reunion with Ahsoka in season one.

Speaking about her character’s growth, Dawson recently reflected on how Ahsoka’s journey has evolved. “He had a stronger gravity to begin with and was a little more unflappable,” Dawson explained.

“And I like that he’s relaxing, he’s finding his joy again. I think those moments with Hayden [Christensen] and Anakin were so important to her to heal something so she could be more present. And that’s what I really like.

“I think we’re going to explore this a lot more in season two… I’m really happy to be able to add more joy to her life and see her relax a little more and work in the community a little more than she has so far.”

Ahsoka has always been a story of growth, healing and finding balance between duty and emotion, which clearly continues into season two.
