
Chris Columbus became the first director to take on the task of shooting Harry Potter. After achieving success, he prophesies laurels for the new project.
The director said that during the shooting of the first two episodes, his team tried to transfer as many details from the book as possible to the big screen. “We tried to fit as much of the plot as we could. The first movie ended up being two hours and 40 minutes long. The second one turned out to be about the same. “I think the fact that they can have multiple chapters for each book is great,” Columbus told People.
When asked which actor he would like to see in the role of Voldemort, Columbus confidently chose Cillian Murphy.
