Wow! On November 16, “Research Institute Archive. Renewal”, where documents and artifacts from the center’s historical projects and symbolic exhibitions over the last 30 years will be presented for the first time.
The event is curated by Irina Gorlova. At the exhibition you will see: installations by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov in the “Moscow Retrospective”, the project of artistic optimism “I Believe” curated by Oleg Kulik, personal exhibitions of Irina Nakhova “Paradise”, the International Comic Book Festival “Commission” and much more.
At the exhibition, you will learn about the evolution of street art, the formation of a professional community and art market, the founding process of the Galleries Association (AGA), and the support of young art and new names in the sector. Video materials from WIN-WIN contemporary art markets will also be presented.
You will be able to create an individual route through the exhibition, use an audio guide or purchase tickets for a mediation tour, completely immersing yourself in the history of Russian contemporary art. The exhibition will end on January 19. Therefore, do not forget to mark the days on your calendar for essential visits, such as the New Year’s holiday.
