EXCLUSIVE: Brenda Perez, 23, is a Hooters waitress and law student living in Florida. She shared some of the most interesting parts of working in the restaurant chain.
From a car shooting to a bomb threat, a Hooters waitress has revealed just how insane her job can get.
Brenda Perez, 23, of Miami, Florida, also shared what customers look like and what she usually earns in tips.
The law student has been working for the American restaurant chain for two years and never gets boring.
He works there part-time to be able to finish his studies without debt.
Speaking exclusively with, he said: “Every day is definitely a new story and celebrities come in sometimes. The other day, Jason Derulo walked in with his little girl and son.
“Then on other days we were stopped in the parking lot while a bomb squad was inspecting the building because someone had left a note in the men’s room saying they had planted a bomb in the restaurant.

“Another time a car went by and shot us with an AK full of water bullets, it was so realistic that everyone, including the customers, was hiding under the tables and behind bars like we were in a movie. Quentin Tarantino “.
It might surprise people, but Brenda says most of the clients that come to her are families and couples.
“Don’t get me wrong, we definitely have stereotypical men trying their luck, but it’s not as typical as many think,” he explained.
“It’s pretty funny though, sometimes a parent comes over to protect their child’s eyes and asks if we allow the kids. Hooters is definitely a family restaurant. “
That said, that doesn’t mean everyone you deal with is polite and respectful.
Sometimes customers can be less than ideal.
“I don’t like the superiority complex some customers have when dealing with young waitresses or how empowered they feel to have our conversation and attention,” she said.
“I mean, do you expect your waiter at the Olive Garden to flirt with you for three hours?”
Since Brenda is currently in law school, she loves the flexibility that working at Hooters offers her.
She says there aren’t many jobs that allow her to give up a shift if she can’t work at the last minute or wants to take an extra shift for more money.

The brunette beauty continued: “I like that you go out with money in your pocket every day instead of waiting two weeks for your salary.
“However, I don’t like the unreliability of the tracks. It’s weird, but there have been shifts where I leave for under $ 20, which isn’t even enough to cover the gas I needed to get there.
On average, Brenda comes home with a $ 150 to $ 200 tip.
On slower days you will get nearly $ 100 and on peak days it can go as high as $ 300- $ 400.
