Autumn is starting to show itself, which means that weather conditions will force us to stay at home more and more. To diversify your free time, we have put together the most interesting series that will be released in September.
“Curious Barbara”
September 1st
For those who have younger sisters or brothers, we recommend watching the series “Curious Varvara”, which we wrote about earlier as part of the “Pilot” festival, on Knowledge Day. In the story, nine-year-old Varvara, who dreams of becoming a detective, comes to visit her grandparents in the village during the summer vacation. There she meets the timid Vasya, who is the same age. She tells him about the witch, the fire and the mysterious disappearance of the violinist boy. Together they will have to investigate this difficult case.
“The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power”, Season 2
September 2nd
The second season of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power will tell the story of the creation of all nine rings of power and the great war. This time, the focus of the story will shift from Galadriel (returning to her role as Morveth Clarke) to Sauron (played by Charlie Vickers), who will begin his rise to power by deceiving the inhabitants of Middle-earth.
“Slow Horses”, Season 4
September 4th
Spy drama Slow Horses continues the story of the misfit spies at Slough House, led by Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb.
“Perfect Couple”
September 5th
Celeste Otis and Benji Winbury are preparing to get married at a luxurious mansion in Nantucket, but tragedy strikes on the eve of the wedding when a bridesmaid dies. And now everyone there becomes a suspect. The series “The Perfect Couple” is based on the book of the same name by Elin Hildenbrand. The main roles in the series “The Perfect Couple” will be played by Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, Liev Schreiber, Billy Howle.
“All Agatha”
September 18th
The spin-off series WandaVision will tell the story of what happened to the witch Agatha Harkness after she escaped from the captivity of the Scarlet Witch. The main role is played by Kathryn Hahn.
“Penguin”
September 19
The series will tell the story of Oswald Cobblepot, known as Mr. Penguin, the anti-hero of the Batman comic book series. Society rejected him because of his ugly appearance, forcing him to turn to crime. He will be played by Colin Farrell.
“Grotesque”
September 25th
A series from American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy. In the story, a detective and a nun team up to investigate a series of brutal crimes.
