The Festival of Short and First Films “Koroche” presents this year’s competition program. The list of short films includes 32 films, and among the first films there are seven feature films. We have collected the most important ones for you.
Circle the dates of August 20-25 on your calendar, because these are the days when the festival will take place in Kaliningrad. Most importantly, according to tradition, everyone will be able to attend the film screenings; for this, you need to register on the site.
It is already known that the opening film was announced for Roman Mikhailov’s new film “The Firebird”. The cast includes Mark Eidelstein, Alexandra Kiseleva, Larik Marov, Maria Matsel, Chingiz Garayev and others.
And now more about the full-length program. The list was supplemented by the comedy “Triple” by Alexandra Sarana with Irina Starshenbaum in the role of a successful employee of the Ministry of Culture, the drama “Replica” by Amir Isaev about the rivalry of two brothers (starring Nikita Efremov, Vladislav Tsenev and Sofya Lebedeva) and the drama about the search for oneself “Clean Slate” with Polina Tsyganova and Elena Lyadova.
Among the feature films is Marusya Fomina’s debut film “ELEPHANT”, which is the story of the last meeting of officer Georgy Osorgin and his wife Lina before their tragic death in the Solovetsky special purpose camp.
The winners of both programs will be determined by a professional jury. Also this year, viewers will have the opportunity to choose their winners in “In short. Stars”. It presents 11 short films starring famous actors. Among them: Yulia Snigir, Daria Ursulyak, Alena Babenko, Daria Moroz, Dmitry Nagiev, Denis Shvedov, Nikita Tarasov, Agniya Ditkovskite, Pavel Tabakov and others.
