Bloomberg has described the second season of the sci-fi thriller “Separation” as the most expensive multi-part project in history, a conclusion reached by reporters after examining the state of the Apple TV+ streaming service and how much it spends on its original projects.

So, the creator of the series Ben Stiller exceeded the budget of the first season by $ 40 million (almost 3.5 billion rubles – Ed.), and the sequel cost the streaming service $ 20 million per episode. It is noted that the cost of the House of the Dragon series is almost the same, but its popularity greatly exceeded the Separation.
Streaming in general still has major issues finding viewers. The huge spending on a second season raises many questions about the show’s future. The company is hoping to attract as many viewers as possible with new episodes set to air in January.
We previously reported that “Bear” and “Shogun” were leading the Emmy nominations. Read about that here.
