The finalists of the famous literary award “Big Book” have been announced. Their names appeared on the official website.
The shortlist included 14 candidates, four of whom were women. Nadya Alekseeva became known for her novel “Midnight Office”, Daria Bobyleva – for her novel “The Shop is Open Before Dark”, Yana Wagner – for her work “Tunnel”, and Natalya Ilishkina for her work about the book “Ulan Dalai”.
It’s interesting that the majority of the finals are novels. There were a total of 346 applications for the award this year. Only 50 works were included in the long list. Meanwhile, the winners will be selected by a jury of one hundred people. The ceremony will take place at the Pashkov House in Moscow.
