Prince Edward went out today to celebrate the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award winners.
The 58-year-old is leading the engagement in the gardens of Buckingham Palace in London.
The day after he attended the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration in Windsor with his wife, 57, Sophie Wessex, and their 18-year-old daughter, Lady Louise.
Dressed in a blue shirt and matching patterned tie, he shook hands with Johannes Radebe, a student of Strictly star and Duke of Edinburgh.

Edward wore a jacket and black pants with a pocket square to complete the look.
She hugged an umbrella and chose elegant but sensible black shoes for this occasion.
This week, Prince Edward will host 12,000 young people at four events taking place today and May 20.

Prince Edward had a long affinity with the plan, and it was announced years ago that his mother and Prince Philip had asked him to assume the title of Duke of Edinburgh.
When Charles becomes king, he will decide whether Prince Edward takes the title.

Wessex also attended Fridays and Saturdays, with Sophie photographing her daughter Lady Louise driving the Duke of Edinburgh’s chariot and leading the Fell Pony Society centennial parade.

Years ago, it was announced that Prince Edward’s mother, who was photographed with the gold laureates, and that Prince Philip wanted him to be given the title of Duke of Edinburgh.
