A mother who loves tattoos has been criticized online for putting fake ink cartridges on her one-year-old. Critics accuse him of raising him as a “gangster” and a “hooligan”.
Shamekia Morris, a stylist from West Palm Beach, Florida, started getting her son Treylin temporary tattoos when he was just six months old.
It covers the tot, often known for head-to-toe tattoos on social media under the username NuggerWorld561 – putting intricate body parts on the abdomen, arms, back, and legs.
While the tattoos are not real, many people online criticized her mother for covering her baby with drawings, with some calling her a “bad mother”.

The online backlash started even before Treylin was born, when she took a pregnant photo shoot at a tattoo parlor where she showed off her ink drawings.
‘When I was eight months old’ [pregnant] I did a maternity photo shoot with my brothers at a tattoo parlor,” she recalls.
“I get a lot of comments, people say I was raising my son to be a ‘gangster’, a ‘hooligan’, they’re not used to seeing a kid with a tattoo,” Truly said in a recent interview.
“I was harassed on social media. All the comments were negative, people said my baby would be born with a lot of tattoos. The skin is getting poison. It was crazy.
And when he started giving fake tattoos to little Trey, his followers didn’t like it.
He said people told him Treylin was “going to be shot in the street” or “put him in jail.”
Then he added: ‘The answer was scary. It hurts my feelings because I know I’m not a bad mother and I take all kinds of names. This is madness. ‘

When Shamekia started giving Treylin temporary tattoos, most of her relatives weren’t fans.
But now, after watching her social media grow, she has amassed over 300,000 followers on Tic toc – they are nothing but supportive.
“When I started tattooing Treylin, my family hated it because they didn’t like my tattoo. My family was very upset,” he said.
“But now when they see that it can be good, they love it. Because it attracts a lot of attention while we are away, and children love tattoos,” he said.
His sister, Dinera, added: “When Shamekia this idea came up, I wasn’t happy, I was totally against it. I didn’t want him to do this to her.
“But ever since I saw where he and Treylin could go, I’ve had no problems because it turned out to be a positive thing.”

Shamekia stressed that Treylin “loves” temporary ink designs. He also said that the one-year-old likes to dress well.
She said she “feels” when she sees herself in the mirror because she started “dancing” and “beating”.
Despite all the negative comments, Shamekia believes she is a good mother to Treylin and has no plans to stop the temporary tattoos anytime soon.

Treylin’s aunt Ilisha also said: “When Shamekia first told me about tattoos, my first reaction was: they were going to call DCF. But I am proud of Shamekia and the life she has made for Treylin”.
Shamekia stressed that Treylin “loves” temporary ink designs. He also said that the one-year-old likes to dress well.
She has her own walk-in closet filled to the brim with baby clothes and over 150 sneakers.
She often adorns Treylin’s looks with extravagant jewellery, such as gold chains and sparkly necklaces.
“I think Treylin likes to dress up. She feels like seeing herself dressed in the mirror, she’s lucky, dancing. I think she really likes it,” she explained.
Despite all the negative comments, Shamekia is convinced that she is a good mother to Treylin and has no plans to stop the temporary tattoos anytime soon.
