Earlier this year, Australians rushed to use a similar “brushless” cleaner that cleaned grime from oven racks after a mom got excited on social media.

Anne used Oven Power, a kit that included a detergent from Queensland cleaning brand Oz Kleen and a plastic bag to soak the shelves overnight.

Also available at other major supermarkets including Coles and Woolworths, the kit comes with gloves to protect your hands from chemicals.

Mom said she leaves her shelves in the bag for 24 hours and “turns often” to make sure the detergent covers every inch of it.

“I swear by this product that I bought from Aldi a while ago and hesitated to use it,” Anne wrote.

“Wow, I should have used it a long time ago. I will never use anything else again. By far the best product on the market for your ovens and barbecues.
