Royal fans went wild online after the Duke of Cambridge joked that the Duchess was “out of her mind” while spearheading an early controversy.
Prince William, 39, and Kate Middleton, 40, attended Shortwood Teacher Training College in Kingston, Jamaica, on Wednesday, where they met students preparing to become early childhood educators.
When they sat down to chat with the trainee teachers, the Duchess burst into a nervous laugh, then the Duke jokingly added: “I’m not good at this! I am listening.’
The group burst into laughter as Prince William raised his hands and pretended to shrug, Kate added: “No, you’re not! You hear me talking about that.
The heartfelt moment between the two royals captivated the royal fans by shouting the slogan on the “lovely” duke: “He’s such a supportive husband!”

Meanwhile, another added: “I love it when Catherine gives her space to shine.”

The clip was shot today when the couple met with the teachers. A recognized example in its field, Shortwood Teacher’s College conducts research in early childhood education and care and also offers professional development programs for the early childhood sector.
During their time at university, Kate and William also attended Shortwood Practicing Primary and Infant School, where they met children and parents.
The royal couple then met with students and staff to learn about their work and study at the College and the importance Jamaica places on early childhood development.
The clip shows Kate starting the conversation before William jokingly intervenes.
The Duchess reached out to the Duke to rub her arm after jokingly saying she would “listen” during the round table.
The Duchess also gave her first Caribbean tour talk during the visit, praising “the important role of frontline teachers in shaping society”.
Kate told college students: “You as teachers are at the forefront of this vital work and play a vital role in shaping our societies, positively impacting the futures of thousands of young people throughout your careers.”
“Decades of science and research have shown us that our early experiences form the fundamental foundations that shape and bind our future lives.

Their statement came shortly after the royal couple were formally welcomed by the Caribbean nation’s prime minister, describing how Jamaica plans to fulfill its destiny as an “independent, developed and prosperous country”.
The mother of three has supported her early childhood development since joining the royal family.
