A nasty bachelor accidentally texted her boyfriend on a date with Bumble, calling him a “solid 4/10” who seemed like an “easy liar”.
Samantha Burroughs, 25, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was shocked to learn that the man she was supposed to meet and known simply as Jake, teased a photo of her in a bikini with a friend.

Health worker Samantha Burroughs, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, found the Bumble contest “respectful” in initial interviews, but discovered a different side to her personality after accidentally texting her – she made fun of her bikini photo.

The messages that got to Samantha – but they were for Jake’s boyfriend – showed how she really felt about their date.

The 25-year-old actress reacted by sending messages to her TikTok account, calling it “easy” and collecting messages of support from those who saw it.
Initially, the singleton said she was impressed by his sweet messages after she said how “lucky” she felt to have met him that night.
However, the 25-year-old “jaw hit the ground” after watching the seemingly beaten adoration accidentally sent a photo of her in a bikini and a “derogatory” text taunting her.
Jake’s post told his friend, “Brother, he’s a solid quartet”, conceding that “desperate times call for desperate measures” and saying that “beggars cannot be voters.”
He added that he would “down” his date with Samantha, and concluded by boasting that “all I saw was a lie and an easy lie.”
A short time later, a second message came to Samantha that she was trying to hide her gaffe, “I didn’t want to send this to you” and “I was talking about someone else”.
Samantha refused to answer – and made her date – and was surprised that Jake went from being too polite to being “childish” in the messages.

Burroughs turned to “Jake” after receiving messages for her date and took revenge on social media: His post has now over 1.5 million likes.

Samantha said some people have even claimed that the man may have done this “on purpose” by someone who just wanted to be mean to her.
