New Gap campaign honors chef Stephen ‘tWitch’ in collaboration with Brooklyn Circus: photo

Chief Stephen ‘tWitch’ It may be gone, but it will never be forgotten, and GAP made sure of that when the company debuted its latest campaign. Shot before Stephen’s untimely death on December 13, the new GAP campaign paid tribute to the dancer’s life through a new photo shoot created in collaboration with The Brooklyn Circus.

In the campaign, shot in black and white, Stephen wore items from the capsule collection. In one photo, Stephen wore a pair of cuffed pants with knee-high socks and leather loafers. He paired the pants with a varsity jacket, button-down shirt, and tie. In the movies, Stephen also posed for close-ups that were chilling to behold.

Stephen’s wife Chief Allison HolkerShe said in a campaign statement: “Tears came to our eyes when Stephen and I first saw your campaign footage. He was so touched by the way they captured the very essence of him, and he was thrilled for the world to see. We pay tribute to Stephen’s life by sharing these images in honor of the joy and light he brought to all around him.”

The brand also released its own statement: “Brooklyn Circus and The Gap share the heartbreaking loss of beloved icon Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, a longtime supporter of the BKc community, Ouigi’s work and an essential part of this campaign thanks to your staff. friendship with Ouigi Teodoro [The Brooklyn Circus Founder and Creative Director].”

To honor Stephen, Gap announced it will support The 988 Lifeline through a donation to Vibrant Emotional Health. Vibrant operates 988 Lifeline, “which provides free and confidential emotional support and counseling to individuals experiencing crisis or emotional distress 24/7 across the United States.”
