This is Rihanna’s first time attending the Hollywood event, as she received her first nomination at the show of 2023. She earned her first Best Original Song nomination for her comeback single “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song joins other nominees in the category, including Taylor Swift’s “Carolina” (“Where the lobsters sing”), Gregory Mannfrom “Ciao Papa” (Guillermo del Toro from “Pinocchio”), Lady Gaga“Hold My Hand” (“Top Gun: Maverick”) and the Bollywood hit “Naatu Naatu” (“RRR”), which ended up taking away the award from all the divas!
