Rapper P Diddy, accused of violence and human trafficking, has been transferred to a lower-security prison and substance abuse treatment program in New Jersey. NBC reports this, citing a representative of the US Federal Bureau of Prisons.

“Sean Combs, known as Diddy, was transferred Thursday to the federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, where he will begin serving the remainder of his 50-month sentence,” the statement said.
In early October, a jury found P Diddy guilty of two of the five charges. According to the final decision, the rapper was sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison. Despite this, the artist’s lawyers tried to have his sentence reduced and objected to his conviction on two grounds. Later, the rapper’s release date was announced.
Let’s remember that in September 2024, P. Diddy unexpectedly found himself in the middle of a scandal. The rapper was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and violence. The biggest fallout came when the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit.
Rapper Kid Cudi, the defendant’s former assistant, and others also spoke out against the star in court. Hearings in the Sean Combs case lasted almost two months. The music mogul was charged with five charges in total.
