The plot of the horror series is based on the cult novel “It” by the “king of horror” Stephen King, which was first published in 1986. The series expands on the story seen in Andres Muschietti’s It and It 2 ​​and tells the backstory of Pennywise, the creepy clown who terrorizes children in their nightmares.
