“Who’s talking to Chris Wallace?” Returning for season two on HBO Max, CNN

Who is talking to Chris Wallace? will return for a 10-week second season on HBO Max and then a “best of” show on CNN.

The second season follows the same format as the first, with new episodes arriving on HBO Max on Friday, followed by a CNN compilation two days later at 7pm ET on Sunday. The first episode of the new season debuts January 6 on HBO Max and the CNN show debuts January 8.

Guests scheduled for the upcoming season include Jessica Alba, Brian Cox, Ina Garten and Hugh Jackman. The cast in the first season included former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, George Clooney, Shania Twain, Tyler Perry, Billy Porter, Pete Buttigieg, Alex Rodriguez, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Quentin Tarantino.

Wallace announced a year ago that he was leaving Fox News to join CNN to start the interview series for CNN+, the ultimately short-lived subscription streaming service. Following the shutdown of CNN+, the network made it clear that it intended to continue the show on a new platform.

Wallace said in a statement: “Our guests broke the news, made shocking revelations, were their authentic selves and shared touching anecdotes so people could really get to know them.”

Wallace also serves as an anchor for CNN and has provided analysis for the network.
