Whoopi Goldberg, William Shatner, Amy Poller, Alex Kurtzman, Mori Povich, Warner Bros. Television Group President Channing Dunge, and producer and media investor Jeff Saganski have been selected as winners of the NATPE 2022 Tartikoff Legacy Awards. in the 18th year to a select group of television professionals who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in their field.
The awards will be presented on June 2 at the Beverly Wilshere Gala, the first year of the NATPE Miami Marketplace organization awards ceremony and conference. It is now part of a series of NATPE Returns events taking place this year in New York, Los Angeles and Budapest.
One such event, NATPE Hollywood, will take place at W Hollywood the day before the gala, while the Hungarian event will run from June 27-30.
“The presentation of the Brandon Tartikoff Heritage Award in Los Angeles for the first time is an important milestone for NATPE,” said JP Bommel, NATPE President and CEO. “This event is a very important part of our mission and its return, personally, thanks to such a successful team of creators and executives, is something we are very proud of.

NATPE is a US-based global content association that supports the development, creation, production, financing and distribution of video content. In January, the group canceled its annual NATPE Miami conference just 10 days before its launch during the growing version of Omicron due to concerns following a virtual 2021 conference.
