Did you mess up your lining? We have the solution to avoid having to redo everything

We have found solutions to remove excess eyeshadow that falls on your cheeks. We also found something to apply our foundation evenly and lightly to achieve luminosity. And now we know how to keep concealer from sliding into creases. On the other hand, we really don’t know how to remove a failed eyeliner line without having to completely remove eye makeup.

While some use a cotton ball dipped in makeup remover, this method isn’t entirely reliable, as it often leaves the cleansed area feeling slightly greasy and mostly clean.

Luckily we found LAnd tutorials that saved us precious minutes in the bathroom in the morning. And it was the TikTokeuse @rose.friederike who proposed it.

How to remove a trim line easily?

The solution is very simple, just arm yourself a small piece of tape And apply the adhesive part directly to the still wet liner line you just drew. Once the piece of adhesive is well adhered, you can now remove it and find that the eyeliner has also come off the outer corner of the eye.

Small warning : this practice must be performed with the utmost care. Avoid getting too close to your brows so you don’t snag your hair in the process.

Also try, if you can, do not repeat this gesture more than once in a short period of time with the risk of feeling a slight skin irritation.

A technique that requires greater care around the eyes

If this method is particularly practical for being able to remove eyeliner without having to use make-up remover, can be irritating to the skin. As you are often told, the epidermis is found around the eyes it is one of the thinnest and most fragile in the human body. A finesse that makes it particularly sensitive to attacks and, unfortunately, gluing and detaching the tape is one of the elements that can do it remove part of the hydrolipidic film from the skin and end up weakening it.

To prevent the skin from stretching or irritation, it is recommended to run gentle and complete make-up removal using, for example, cornflower water or a make-up remover specially formulated for this area. And then apply a treatment based on hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and niacinamide to strengthen the skin barrier.
