An unexpected event occurred this morning. Residents of Moscow and some towns near Moscow, including Dubna, Ramenskoye, Zhukovsky, Lyubertsy, Krasnogorsk and Odintsovo, noticed a mysterious green glow in the sky.
According to one version, as reported in the Solar Astronomy Laboratory, we are talking about the fall of a meteorite with a diameter of 10 to 30 cm, which burned up in the atmosphere. The green color is caused by the glow of nickel, one of the most common elements in metal meteorites.
According to another version, space debris flew across the sky. This is evidenced by the rapid disintegration of the object. However, the fact that the object flies very low and space debris begins to collapse into the higher layers of the atmosphere raises suspicions.
At the same time, scientists came to the conclusion that the object would definitely not come into contact with the Earth, since it is impossible so quickly.
We previously told you that an ancient comet can now be seen in the sky. It will be clearly visible in the early morning hours (5am to 7am) from October 30th to November 7th.
