Casey Anthony blames her father for her daughter Caylee’s death and accuses him of sexual abuse

In the three-part documentary, which airs Nov. 29, Casey, 36, blames her estranged father, George Anthonyfor Caylee’s death in 2008, second People🇧🇷 Casey says her father woke her up on June 16, 2008 and informed her that the 2-year-old was missing.

“It made no sense. She would never leave my room without telling me,” Casey says in the doc. “I immediately started looking around the house. I go out and look to see where it might be.

Casey claims to have found George holding Caylee, who was “drenched” after allegedly drowning in the above ground pool. “He gave it to me. He said it was my fault. That I caused it,” Casey says. “But he was in no hurry to call 911 and wasn’t trying to revive her. I collapsed with her in my arms. It was heavy and cold. tone and says “It’s going to be okay”. After this alleged incident, Casey apparently hooked up with her boyfriend. Additionally, Casey would reveal that he doesn’t believe his daughter drowned in the pool and that George may have orchestrated Caylee’s death “to cover up what he did.” Casey claims in the document that her father physically and sexually abused her and that he may have done the same to Caylee. “That’s what I think,” Casey says. “I wish I could tell someone something about something every day. Maybe then things would have been different.

Caylee’s remains were found in a wooded area near the family home six months after she disappeared. Casey went to trial in 2011 and was charged with first degree murder and pleaded not guilty. The Florida trial has become a media storm. Eventually Casey was cleared of the capital murder charge. She also pleaded not guilty to aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. Casey was found guilty of four felonies for providing false information to a police officer. She was released from prison in July 2011 after spending nearly 3 years behind bars while awaiting trial for murder.

Casey has had a fractured relationship with her parents, George and cindy antonio, following Caylee’s death. George was accused of molesting Casey as a child by his defense team during his trial, which he vehemently denied. George didn’t tell daughter about him until she was in a near-fatal car crash in 2018. He said Dr. Mehmed Oz in 2019 that Casey reached out to make sure she was okay after the horrific crash. George also confirmed that he would like to reconnect with her daughter “to tell her I’m sorry” and that he “forgives” her.
