British girl (16) is rescued from her home in Marbella where she was found naked after leaving the nightclub with a group of men: Five men, including one Brit, are arrested after she called for help.

Spanish police have arrested five men, including a Briton and an Irishman, on suspicion of illegally detaining a 16-year-old English girl and a 20-year-old Lithuanian woman at a house on the Costa del Sol where weapons were found.

An SOS call from the teenager reportedly sparked a police response that ended in five arrests and the seizure of weapons, including a machete, as well as a simulated handgun and submachine gun.

The English girl was found naked, wrapped in a blanket and “very scared” in one of the bedrooms of the house in the posh resort of Puerto Banus, near Marbella, the Spanish daily El Mundo reported. Both were taken to the hospital after the rescue.

She told police she was at a nightclub and has a vague recollection of getting into a car with two men, but can’t remember anything else.

Police received the alert at around 5am on Sunday from a friend of the English girl, who said the teenager called her “crying and distraught” and claimed she was with several men who had guns before the line went dead .

A police spokesman said: “National police officers have arrested five youths, including one minor, in Marbella for their alleged responsibility for a crime of illegal detention.

“Upon arriving at the scene, the police found two girls, both minors, and arrested five young men, one of whom had a broken ankle after falling off a wall in an attempt to escape.

A pistol and a machine gun, later found to be fake weapons, were found on the premises along with a machete and a knife.

Earlier reports suggested the two women had been sexually assaulted by the group, although police confirmed the couple said in a statement they had both entered the home voluntarily after meeting the men at a nearby club, and that no sex crimes occurred.

The second woman rescued by police is described as a 20-year-old Lithuanian woman who was found half-naked and “sleepy” in bed next to what was initially believed to be a Thompson machine gun.

She also told police a similar story to the English girl, saying she remembered going to a nightclub and getting into a vehicle to go to another bar, but nothing after that.

The incident in posh Puerto Banus comes after police revealed in an unrelated case last month that they had arrested two women accused of using the drinks of some foreign male tourists they met at a nightclub there and stole their belongings after returning to their holiday home with them.

And in 2015, Irish actor Andy Quirke revealed a holiday nightmare after an opiate-based drug slipped into his girlfriend’s drink during a night out in the popular Spanish seaside town known for its rich and famous clientele.
