On the occasion of ‘Stranger Things’ Day celebrated on November 6, the series has unveiled the title of the first episode corresponding to its fifth and final season. Now, as Variety reports, A panel focusing on awards season took place this same Sunday. There, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, director Shawn Levy and series stars Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Priah Ferguson, Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn and Eduardo Franco, they talked about various topics related to the fourth season.

As expected, they also had time to reveal some secrets of the fifth and final installment which will arrive in 2024.. “Season 5, as we see it, It’s kind of a culmination of all of the above, so it has a little bit of each.. Before every season was different, Season 3 was our big summer monster hit and Season 4 was a psychological horror. I think what we’re trying to do is go back to the beginning a little bit, to sort of the first season.”Ross says. However, the showrunner also added that the last few episodes of last season will be more along the lines of the fourth.
Without revealing any kind of spoilers, the series team has confessed that the opening chapter of the last season is finished and that the pitch meeting with the Netflix team, where they laid out the master plan for the finale and which lasted about two hours; made the executives cry.
The development of the characters in the fifth season
Surely this has been one of the most discussed topics among fans of the series since the fourth season ended and the wait for the fifth began. Previously, the Duffer brothers have already assured that they have no plans to introduce new characters, trying to focus only on the main cast during the last season. Well, now they’ve restated that idea: “Just as important as the supernatural are the characters we have now, most of whom are still alive. It’s important to wrap up these arcs because so many of these characters have grown up since season one.. So, it’s a balancing act between giving them time to complete their character arcs and also tying up any loose ends and making our final revelations.”.
“Even though the show has become so famous and the characters so iconic, and even though it has a lot to do with the 80s and the supernatural and genre, ultimately it’s about the people. It’s about these characters. Season 5 is already clearly focusing on the stories of these characters, because that has always been the soul of ‘Stranger Things'”say the creators of the American title.
