Lewis Pullmann (Top Gun: nonconformist) made his Marvel debut in the blockbuster film Lightning*where he played the character Bob, who we discovered was the superhero The Sentry.
In the film, we find out that he was armed by By Julia Louis-Dreyfus character, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and after overpowering New York City and the team of anti-heroes, he was only able to break out of his powerful trance capture thanks to the friendship offered to him by the Thunderbolts, now known as the New Avengers.
It was no surprise that her character was quickly announced as part of the cast of the upcoming ensemble event, Avengers: Judgment Dayas he may be one of the few beings powerful enough to stand a chance against Doctor Doom.
Pullman gave an update on his shooting schedule for the film while speaking with On the Red Carpet, who asked him if he’s done with Bob for now. He replied, “As far as I know. Unless I get another call. Who knows how it goes? I’m just along for the ride. I’m by the phone, ready for the call.”
While Pullman may be expected to film more scenes as the Sentry, he’s the latest actor to reveal he’s finished filming. Avengers: Judgment Day role. What should we expect from Robert Reynolds when he returns?
In the Lightning* In the post-credits scene, we learned that Bob didn’t access his powers for fear of unleashing The Void again. However, it is said that Doctor Doom will find a way to manipulate The Sentry, possibly turning him into a weapon and one of the greatest threats in the Multiverse.
Pullman previously joked: “The Thunderbolts don’t want to lose sight of him, because they realize that if he gets into the wrong hands, or if he’s not supported enough by the right people, he could be dangerous.
But they also want to keep it close in case they can find a way to use it. It’s a very good resource. It’s a difficult situation they find themselves in. With all the other characters they will face Avengers: Judgment Daythere will be so many opportunities to understand how each of them could come into play, and how Bob could come into play with each of them.”
I can’t wait to see how Bob is used in future films. Judgment Day will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
