65-year-old Dmitry Dibrov, who divorced his wife Polina in September after 16 years of marriage, spoke openly for the first time about how he experienced the separation. In an interview with TV presenter Yulia Prudko, she admitted that she sees this stage not as a failure, but as a new beginning.
“The divorce was not a failure, it was a wonderful 16 years,” Dibrov said. According to him, he is now trying to keep quiet so as not to aggravate the situation even further. “If you don’t know what to do, stay silent. You shouldn’t harm a woman just because she is the mother of your children,” he added.
Despite the pain, Dmitry says that he does not hold a grudge against his ex-wife. “If a person is in love, how can he oppose this mechanism of the universe?” – The TV presenter argues philosophically.
