After a big comeback to the cinema with the actress’s new movie, A Christmas to Remember, which features many references to her cult movie Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan has apparently decided to jump in and revive the culture of the 2000s to its fullest. This time, the actress remembered another important picture in her filmography – “Freaky Friday”.

A source told HollywoodLife that the actress was seriously considering making a Freaky Friday sequel and even discussed the project with Jamie Lee Curtis.
“[Линдси и Джейми Ли] they are confident they will do it, and there are tons of incredibly talented people who are determined to get this project from scratch and get it working,” an insider began. “They’ve already prepared the story and are in talks with several different studios and producers who are extremely involved.”

Not only are fans crazy about this opportunity, but Lindsey herself is freaking out because for her, it will be a step in the right direction to boost her career: “For Lindsey, it’s a complete circle,” the source explained. “She’s getting a second chance at her career and is determined to make things right this time around. A role in Freaky Friday propelled her to stardom. At the height of her big comeback, she knows this movie will mean a lot to both her and Jamie Lee.”

This was confirmed by the release of an archive photo of Jamie Lee, where the actresses were together during “Freaky Friday.” Curtis so sweetly captioned the photo in support of a colleague: “When I see Lindsey sledding across carpets and her show in ‘An Unforgettable Christmas,’ I miss the time we spent together and it’s Friday, so I miss her like crazy!”
