Who said that to make a good cake you have to break the eggs? Whether you are intolerant, allergic, vegan or just plain curious, here are some recipes that will prove to the world that you can work wonders by leaving chickens alone.
Recipe for egg-free yogurt and almond cake
To make this dessert that I make almost every week (which may explain why my butt is the size of Siberia), you will need:
- 2 organic white yogurt
- 3 jars of wholemeal yogurt
- 1 pot of unrefined sugar yogurt
- ½ jar of vegetable oil
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 20 g of flaked almonds
- 1 pinch of salt
You need to empty the yogurts into a bowl and can then reuse the pots to measure the ingredients you have left. We mix, mix, butter the bottom of a mold, pour your preparation, add the almonds on top and soon, in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 ° C. If you want to make this cake vegan, you can also substitute cow’s milk yogurt with plant-based yogurt.

Egg-free chocolate cake recipe
And yes, making an egg-free chocolate cake is possible and tastes great. For this you will need:
- 2 plain yoghurt
- 2 jars of flour
- 1 jar of chopped almonds
- 1 jar of sugar
- 50 g of melted butter or 1/2 pot of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened chocolate powder (or more, to taste)
Empty the yoghurts into a bowl and keep them, so that they serve as a measure for the other ingredients. All that is left is added, mixed, buttered the bottom of a mold and left, in the oven for 30 minutes (or a little less, if you want it to be more melting), at 180 ° C. As with the yogurt and almond cake, you can adapt this recipe to be vegan by replacing the animal milk yogurt with the vegetable one.

Strawberry and almond fondant recipe, without eggs
So very personally I haven’t tested this yet, but I feel it won’t be that long. I guess you can also replace strawberries with other fruits like apples or pears, it can be really very good. Will you tell me in the comments if you have tested it? It looks so good. To make it, you will need:
- 70 g of flour
- 40 g of chopped almonds
- 25 g of almond puree
- 15cl of milk
- 1/2 sachet of yeast
- fruit (strawberries, apples, pears, kiwis, cut into small pieces)
- a few teaspoons of sugar, to taste
Mix the dry ingredients first, then gradually add the other ingredients except the fruit. Then, add the strawberries, fill the molds and put in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes, then at 160 ° C for 10 minutes.

Egg-free chocolate marbled banana bread recipe
The latest on the street, but no less good: the chocolate banana bread.
To prepare this delicious sweet cake you will need:
- 200 g of flour
- 30 g of corn or potato starch
- 75 g of sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 50 g of butter
- 3 very ripe bananas
- about 150 ml of milk
- 70 g of milk chocolate or dark chocolate
First, melt the chocolate and butter together, then mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. In this same bowl, add the mashed bananas, then the milk. Then add some of this mixture to the bowl the melted chocolate is in. Now that your two salad bowls are ready, butter a mold, and add a layer without chocolate, then a layer with chocolate, alternately. Until you run out. And soon, in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 ° C.
