How do you feel as the big night approaches?

As every year, there is a lot of stress: between making the evening a success, collecting donations… I am hosting and hosting this event, so the anxiety is really present. The first year I didn’t have children yet, I realized that I have a lot more time and it’s a little more complicated since I became a mother. In any case, I am very happy and very excited.

Is charitable devotion something that’s always inside you?

I have always been very involved in charities for children, for illness. As soon as possible, when asked, I answer in the affirmative. I remember when I was little I wanted to spend Christmas with Restos du Coeur to help out. I am a very sensitive and empathetic person by nature.

This is the new editionTheir voices for hopeDedicated to Daniel Lévi, who died of colorectal cancer, was it clear that he would perform this concert in his honor?

In the beginning no, because it wasn’t pancreatic cancer he had, but I also loved Daniel very much and he still has digestive cancer. The ARCAD foundation, from which donations are made, fights cancers of the digestive system, the colon is one of them, and the pancreas. Daniel came, told us about his illness and was very supportive, so we thought it would be nice to pay tribute to him for this evening. He would want us to talk about the case, as he had the honor and courage to do it.

Do you have any surprises for this new edition?

There are always surprises, duets, singers added at the last minute. We take care that it is very festive and there are good sharing moments.

This is your tenth edition, “Do you feel any evolution in research since its inception?”Their voices for hope“?

There are a lot of parts, evolutions but they are slow and so you have to pay. In the long run you have to pay for human resources to track research work, which takes time.

Is it hard to confuse the annual show, the joke, with the severity and harshness of the disease?

You really have to dose for the message to be delivered in the best possible way. Will it pass through tears? A good time we shared together? These are the many questions we ask ourselves to ensure everyone finds their way. Doublespeak is not easy to find.

Do you think television is sufficient for associations and charity events or is it still missing?

They do some things very well, like Sidaction or Telethon, but I don’t think we’re doing enough.

Did you feel a certain frivolity on behalf of some upcoming artists?

The artists are always there and supporting us from the very beginning. They come every chance they get. When they have a disability, they come the following year. Those who are there really do it from the heart.

What is the content of a successful charity show?

There should be generous people, and it should be done with the heart.

Concert “Their voices for hope“It’s airing in the second episode of the evening, don’t you regret not showing it in prime time?

I want it released as a bonus and that we have more possibilities to do so. Unfortunately the channels have audience facts, C8 has no music. I’d rather be in the second half of the evening and have the concert resonate badly, not prime time to find its place because there’s no place for it.
