Yesterday, Moscow hosted the Women’s Summit dedicated to gender equality in business, politics and society, organized by Forbes Woman. Among the forum speakers was the famous singer Manizha. She spoke in the episode “Impact and Help”, where they discussed the prospects of Russian social projects aimed at supporting women.

Participants talked about finding resources in times of crisis, the problems of respecting women’s rights and the impact of the current situation on social projects.

Manizha is the founder of the Silsila Foundation, which provides assistance to immigrants, refugees and representatives of eastern cultures who have suffered domestic violence. It was this topic that the singer touched on at the top.

Manizha referred to the start of a military special operation in Ukraine. Then the singer immediately spoke negatively about the actions of Russia. After that, many of his performances were cancelled.
