Basketball was born in Tatarstan: how was WINLINE UNICS FEST?

It seems that now it is almost impossible to surprise even with a big festival. People are already tired of the usual style: get in line, go to class, listen to freshmen and go home. So what happens when you combine basketball with street art?

The answer is obvious – WINLINE UNICS FEST.

The most advantageous place was chosen for the festival – the largest extreme park “Uram” in Kazan, which is also a mega-popular place among basketball players.

They added a great location and a rich entertainment program: cheerleading, a merchandise market, and even a street basketball tournament reminiscent of NBA games in terms of passion. The winners of the mini-tournament faced a team of UNICS legends in the final and received awards on stage from the best players in the club’s long history.

But the main event of the festival was the presentation of an updated uniform design and a new design of the club bus by Evgeny Ches, a well-known artist with a background in street culture. In developing the design, he used branded elements that refer to street style and now the graffiti on the bus that unites the team’s players and fans.

In order for the festival to remain in the memory of the participants and guests for a long time, the famous rap artist FEDUK filled the crowd with energy by making a loud finale at the end of such an eventful day.
