‘I didn’t live up to her expectations as a mother’: Britney Spears reacts to children’s accusations

This time, the children of the American singer openly talked about their relationship with their mother. Britney has already given her answer.

Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, gave a candid interview to journalist Daphne Barak in which they talked about how they treated their star mom. “I am 100% sure that everything can be fixed, it just takes a lot of time and effort. I want your mental health to improve. I want to see him again when he recovers,” Jaden told the Daily Mail.

“I love you so much and wish you the best. Maybe one day we can sit down and talk about everything.” She also explained why she and her brother weren’t at her mother’s wedding. “It wasn’t the right time to meet. That doesn’t mean I’m not happy for him, I’m happy. But he did not invite the whole family. If it was just me and Preston, it would have ended badly,” said Jayden.

“My love for my children knows no bounds and it hurts me to know that he (Jaden) said I didn’t meet his expectations as a mother,” Britney wrote on her page.

“I know your gift,” the singer continued, this time referring to her eldest son. “I know you are a teacher in my life and my dear child, I am a teacher for you too! It’s scary to see your hypocritical dad say the media sucks, but it gets you talking to them about personal issues! If you think about it for a second, remember where you came from! I hope you look in the mirror and remember … you are my child and always will be,” Britney replied emotionally.

Recall that her previous ex-husband Kevin Federline gave 60 Minutes Australia a lengthy interview and stated that he was very sorry for the singer, despite their conflict.
