Kourtney Kardashian posted a Christmas video on Instagram, but she received a lot of negative comments for it, because the video shows Moscow in winter, more precisely, Red Square, decorated for the New Year. Due to the choice of location, users suspected Courtney’s sympathy for Russia, against the background of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. At the mildest of the comments, subscribers ask the star if she’s out of her mind, but there are also much harsher comments criticizing the Russian government and the country as a whole.

The video, which includes the snow-covered Red Square video and music from the movie “Home Alone”, Kardashian re-released it from @christmasvibesz, which posted Christmas-themed videos and photos. There, the video has already gained over 2.3 million views and over a thousand comments. Some netizens are angry and demand that the admin delete the post, while others write that Moscow is really beautiful in winter and there is nothing wrong with the video. The post still garners comments, but after a wave of criticism, Kourtney Kardashian deleted her post, though screenshots have already spread around the net.

Sister Courtney also risks causing public discontent. Kim Kardashian starred in the new Balenciaga winter ad campaign against a backdrop of birch trees and snowdrifts – this was immediately seen as a hint of the Russian theme:

-They write in the comments, but there is no criticism and negativity there yet. Maybe because the brand account basically restricted the ability to comment on this post.

The other day, the public criticized Robert Downey Jr. for wearing “Russia” adidas socks, the design of which was invented by Gosha Rubchinsky in 2017. And Irina Shayk recently had to make up excuses because of the Olivier salad, which was seen as a support for special operations.
