Frank’s photo shoot was accompanied by an interview with Hamilton. The driver shared details of his work in Formula 1. Specifically, he admitted that he had been considering quitting competing for a long time. The last such thoughts were after the last race in Abu Dhabi.
“I remember sitting in the car in disbelief. I knew I had to unbuckle and get out. I needed to find the strength in myself, but I didn’t. It turned out to be the hardest moment in the entire history of my career,” admitted Hamilton.
Lewis Hamilton’s contract is valid until the end of next year, but he does not yet know if he will renew.
“It’s stressful for me now. The road is always crazy. There’s so much going on,” the driver admitted.
Lewis Hamilton became the first black driver in Formula 1 and the first black driver to win the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He won 100 races during his career.
