Ricky Martin accused of incest: the nephew withdraws the complaint

It’s a turning point in the Ricky Martin case. After accusing him of incest and harassment, his nephew finally withdrew his complaint.

In the eyes of justice, Ricky Martin wins the trial which pitted him against his 21-year-old nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez. Accusing the Puerto Rican singer of incest, the latter finally withdrew his complaint.

Case closed for Ricky Martin

The Puerto Rico court agreed with Ricky Martin. The latter pleaded innocent to his nephew’s allegations. Since the beginning of July, the singer has argued that the restraining order to which he was subject was ” on the basis of completely false accusations “.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez had filed a complaint for incest, domestic violence and harassment against Ricky Martin. He stated that the latter had no he could not bear their separation after seven months of regular sex and proceeded to call her and wander downstairs from her residence.

Following this court decision, Ricky Martin’s attorneys argued on July 21 in TMZ’s columns that this plaintiff’s decision was solely in his jurisdiction:

“As expected, the temporary protection order was not extended by the court. The prosecutor confirmed in court that his decision to dismiss the case was his, without any outside influence or pressure. The prosecutor confirmed that he was satisfied with his legal representation of him in the case. “

Ricky Martin’s defense also spoke of the ailments he suffered from Dennis Yadiel Sanchez. He has never been anything but a disturbed individual making false accusations with absolutely nothing to back them up. As for the singer, he said he suffered a lot for two weeks and also wish ” the best “ to the complainanthoping him “find help” necessary to live “happily” and “do no more harm.”

But remember that withdrawing a complaint does not necessarily mean that nothing has happened and that many things can happen outside the courts to resolve this kind of thorny business. Especially when the person accused of committing sexual violence turns out to be a powerful and rich man.
