Netflix has announced a collaboration with Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn for a drama film. the Copenhagen cowboy marking his first production in his native Denmark in 15 years.
Described by the platform as an “exciting series of neon-infused film noir”, it revolves around a young heroine named Miu (Angela Bundalovic) navigating the criminal underworld of Copenhagen.
Production on the six-episode drama has already finished, which was shot in Denmark and will be released globally on Netflix later this year.
