Peregrym’s husband, Tom Oakley, and their second child, Mela Josephine Oakley, arrived on 6 June. She will still be on maternity leave until September, but will return as Special Agent Maggie Bell that month.
“FBI I’ll be back to work in a few weeks,” Peregrim said. “I’m relieved and grateful to have the space to connect with my family, to rest, to heal, and to be a mother (more difficult than working!). I wish /dads/carers to have it. Thank you for the love, prayer and support of this community.”
The series announced Peregrym’s absence, saying that his character was injured in the episode.
